Kaplan Hospital uses RVS-DN Digital Soft Starters for it's Air Conditioning Chiller
The air conditioning chiller in service at the Hospital draws 580A nominal current from the network. The chiller was initially installed with a Star-Delta starter to over come the current inrush associated with starting this motor. This method however, did not entirely alleviate the voltage drops caused by the large motor, causing voltage drops that contactors chattered due to their coils voltage close dropping.

York Compressors use RVS-DN Soft Sarters by Solcon for it's Ship Compressors
The Solcon digital soft starter was chosen as the standard starter for the YSM line. Solcon’s reputation for long term reliability along with a proven track record in marine applications for eliminating high inrush current and mechanical shock on startup, convinced the designers of the YSM line that the cost-optimized reliable chiller requires a good soft-starting sollution that Solcon has spent years
perfecting.

Petro China uses Medium Voltage Soft Starters by Solcon for its Natural Gas Compressors
These digital soft starters, rated for 900-1250 KW, reduce high inrush current on starting that would otherwise create system wide voltage drops until the motor revs up to speed, and mechanical shocks to the motor and load.

Barnowko oil field in Poland uses Digital Power Meter Soft Starters for its Lquid Gas Compressors
The Kopalnia Nafty Gazu Pjnig Company uses these two Solcon Medium Voltage digital soft starters rated for 250A at 6KV, reduce high inrush current and mechanical shock that would otherwise create voltage drops and mechanical vibration while the compressor revs up to speed.
